North Western Ontario can compete with any one for trophy class animals. The large amounts of cover and low hunting pressure are why our animals can reach a mature age. I have read articles in magazines claiming that a mature whitetail buck in Ontario rarely scores over 140 b&c and that your chances of harvesting a good buck are nil, this simply is not the case. After many mild winters our herd is as large as ever, our older mature bucks are surviving the winters.
Since the spring bear hunt was cancelled, Ontario now only has the fall hunt . With no bear's being harvested in the spring there are no shortage of bear's . This is a exciting hunt and a great time to be in the bush.
Starting out with open stand's with no heat, we now have fully enclosed heated tower stand's.Our hunt will now compare to any hunt in the country .
We approach our bear hunt the same as our deer hunt. We concentrate on the mature male's. The bear on the left was the biggest bear I had ever seen . It tipped the scales at 714 pounds.
I guided for 10 years at other camp's before we had our own hunt. I have seen what to do and what not to do. You will not be sitting at a empty bait with us.
Wolf hunt's are available upon request. This hunt is over bait's from a heated tower stand
